New non-stop route from South Australia to Nadi to debut 30 June 2017.
Fiji Airways has just announced plans to operate twice weekly direct flights to Nadi from Adelaide.
The South Australian capital will become FJ’s fourth Australian gateway, complementing its existing services from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Fiji Airways ceo Andre Viljoen said the move would “allow us to bring our unique Fijian hospitality to South Australia and will provide an alternative route to the United States via Nadi”.
He said the service would also be good news for the sizeable Fijian community living in South Australia, as well as providing a new option for flights to Tonga, Samoa and Vanuatu via Nadi.
The flights are now on sale, with return economy fares leading in at $799 per person.
