Part of company’s digital transformation strategy.
Flight Centre has just confirmed the establishment of a Digital Commerce Advisory Board, to “solicit strategic advice on its digital commerce capabilities and transformation plans”.
Members include Flight Centre chief digital officer Atle Skalleberg, along with Boston-based travel technology entrepreneur Hugh Crean and Nicolas Brusson, ceo of French tech innovator BlablaCar.
The company said the board would work with Flight Centre’s executives and its board of directors to provide “informed guidance on e-commerce, online marketing, mobile commerce, business intelligence and data management, as well as the interaction between offline and online channels”.
Flight Centre plans to confirm two additional members to the Digital Commerce Advisory Board in the coming months.
