GBTA heading back Down Under
The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) will recommence operations in Australia in New Zealand, in partnership with btTB.
The collaboration will see “world-class education and networking opportunities” delivered to the business travel community in the region, with GBTA and btTB to launch the alliance officially at a conference to be held in Sydney on 02-03 May 2017.
Numerous initiatives are set to be unveiled at the btTB Conference in partnership with GBTA, with organisers promising the event will drive engagement, development and networking opportunities for both buyers and suppliers alike.
Commenting on the new pact, GBTA executive director and coo Michael McCormick said “Australia and New Zealand are important markets for the business travel industry and this partnership with btTB provides us the opportunity to not only provide education to travel professionals in the region, but also to provide them with a platform through which their voice can be heard”.
As part of the deal, GBTA will form an Advisory Board for the region to provide input on content and to act as a voice for travel buyers.
