Exclusive partnership to see unique Cover-More policies sold by Helloworld outlets.
Helloworld has signed an agreement with Cover-More making the insurer the sole preferred travel insurance supplier for the Helloworld Limited retail network.
The partnership is more like a joint-venture, with Cover-More to provide Helloworld with a suite of travel insurance products on an exclusive basis. As part of the tie-up, Helloworld franchisees and members will be able to contribute to the development of Cover-More product and customer service innovations.
Taking effect from the beginning of next year, sales of the mutually developed suite of products will kick off in early 2015 on a date yet to be announced.
It comes two months removed from a seemingly hasty termination of Helloworld’s preferred travel insurance agreement with Allianz Global Assistance.
Helloworld ceo Elizabeth Gaines said the agreement was in line with the group’s commitment to offer travellers “the best tailor-made travel experiences”.
“We also know our customers are increasingly looking for travel insurance cover that is customised for their individual circumstances and plans.”
