Jetstar’s first commercial alliance with travel distrbutor
Helloworld and Qantas Group have just jointly announced a new two-year commercial agreement, effective 01 Jul, building on a “successful” partnership with Qantas.
The agreement with QF Group also enters new territory, with Helloworld signing a one-year deal with Jetstar, effective 01 Jul, the low-cost carrier’s first commercial pact with a travel distrubutor in Australia.
Helloworld boss Andrew Burnes said the broadened partnership is an important milestone, building on the group’s “strong relationship” with the Qantas Group.
“With over 1,600 members in our networks and buying group in Australia and New Zealand, these deals will open up a range of new opportunities for our retail and wholesale businesses,” Burnes said.
Qantas ceo Alan Joyce said the arrangements “go a long way toward strengthening our relationship with Helloworld as their number one airline supplier.”
