Trading in Helloworld Travel shares to resume this morning.
The Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) has just confirmed that the suspension of trading in the securities of Helloworld Travel Limited will be lifted immediately.
The shares were suspended earlier this week after the ASX noted Helloworld had failed to lodge audited accounts prior to the formal deadline, without expressly satisfying the conditions for a waiver which would allow them to be finalised later than usual.
The ASX said it had now granted a specific waiver allowing Helloworld to lodge the figures by 15 October 2020.
“Although the Company did not explicitly satisfy all the conditions of the ASX class waiver, in essence it met the requirements substantively and in spirit,” the ASX said.
