Touring, train journeys and luxury stays on offer – and Qantas Points rail redemptions to be phased out.
Journey Beyond will expand its iconic Australian rail experiences with a new Indian Pacific itinerary which will operate year-round from January 2025.
The famed train will depart Perth on a five-day journey across the country to Sydney with new Off Train Experiences in Kalgoorlie, Cook, the Barossa Valley, Broken Hill and the Blue Mountains.
The new Gold Premium category which will launch on The Ghan and Great Southern for 2024 will also debut on the Indian Pacific in 2025, while the company also confirmed that “another change for 2025 is that Qantas Frequent Flyer members will no longer be able to earn or use Qantas Points on Journey Beyond’s rail itineraries”.
Other 2025 releases for Journey Beyond include a selection of Outback Spirit’s most popular itineraries, while bookings are also open for Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef earlier than ever before, with availability across both the humpback and whale shark seasons.
