New agency network heads announced by Helloworld CEO Andrew Burnes.
Helloworld Travel Limited has just announced the appointment of Renee Nightingale as Head of Branded and Associate Networks in Australia.
She will take up her new role in February, replacing Julie Primmer who will be leaving the company after many years serving “tirelessly in the role”, Burnes said.
He noted that Nightingale had worked in retail travel for two decades, and will also retain ownership of several retail travel outlets which will now be run by senior managers.
In an update to the group’s networks this afternoon, Helloworld CEO Andrew Burnes also confirmed the previously announced appointment of Andre Moten as Group General Manager – Magellan Travel and Helloworld Business Travel, replacing Lisa Harrison and David Padman who have both left the business.
“Renee and Andre bring an enormous amount of experience and capability across a range of travel distribution businesses,” Burnes said.
“We have a great deal of confidence about the continued relevance and importance of retail agents in both leisure and corporate travel and are investing in the people and the technologies to help our networks deliver an even better customer experience in the years ahead,” he said.
