Organisational changes see senior Qantas ranks reshuffled.
Qantas today unveiled significant changes to its domestic and international sales structure, with Vanessa Hudson to take on the role of Executive Manager Sales and Distribution.
She will oversee a combined domestic and international sales team, with a message from QF International ceo Gareth Evans and QF Domestic ceo Andrew David saying the move will “provide a single accountability for our Commercial teams who will maximise revenue across our channels including direct, agency, corporate and SME”.
Existing regional general managers will retain responsibility for their markets, with the restructure also seeing the departure of Qantas veteran Steve Limbrick, currently Executive Manager Global Sales, after 30 years with the company.
Other changes will see Paul Jones take on a new role of Executive Manager Customer and Digital Strategy, while Executive Manager Freight, Catering and Australian Airports, Ali Webster, will gain additional responsibility for Airports Customer Services, Ground Operations and Airport Services.
Ian Jackson will take on the new role of Executive Manager Customer Operations, and the QF integrated Operations Centre will transition to Associated Airlines & Services, reporting to Justin Hyams as Executive Manager Workforce Planning and IOC.
“We’re excited about how these changes will support the next stage of growth, innovation and efficiency across our domestic and international operations,” David and Evans said.
