The travel industry leader will commence in the role on 09 March.
The Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA) has announced Emmalita Malmberg as its new national manager – corporate partnerships.
Malmberg brings more than 20 years’ experience across agency leadership, operations and consortium management.
She joins ATIA from Link Travel Group, where she served as national business manager for almost two years. Prior to that, she was with Pulse Travel for more than 17 years.
“Emmalita brings a rare combination of commercial acumen, operational expertise and genuine passion for our industry,” ATIA CEO Dean Long said.
“Her deep experience across consortium, agency and leadership roles means she understands exactly what matters to our members and partners.”
The news follows the departure of Richard Taylor, director of membership and industry affairs, last month.
