AAT Kings CEO to take up new role in August.
Matthew Cameron-Smith, the Global CEO of The Travel Corporation’s AAT Kings business, has resigned from his role to take up a new position as the head of Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia.
He will take over from Grant Hunt, who returned to lead Voyages two years ago after previously heading the organisation for more than a decade from 1996. Hunt has decided not to renew his contract, but will join the Voyages Board as a Non-Executive Director.
Cameron-Smith has been with The Travel Corporation for nine and a half years, initially as long-time Trafalgar Managing Director and then becoming AAT Kings MD in February 2019, before being promoted to Group CEO of the business just last month.
The Travel Corporation wished Cameron-Smith every success in the future, noting that a search for his replacement would begin immediately. He is expected to take up his new position at Voyages on 10 August.
