Innovative system can plan and book travel and also automatically redeem loyalty points.
Artificial intelligence has arrived in the Australian travel sector today, with the debut of a revolutionary new system which promises a “step-change” in the way consumers book and manage their travel.
Dubbed “Wilbur”, the platform is the brainchild of Steve Hui, whose ATAS-accredited agency iFlyFlat released first details of the innovation today.
“Wilbur listens and reads your emails and chats to learn everything about you, and intelligently plans the perfect trip you didn’t even know you needed,” according to the iFlyFlat website, with the system able to intelligently correlate inputs from multiple sources, such as family chat messages, to coordinate optimal trips.
Hui is also an expert in optimisation of frequent flyer points, with Wilbur using a customised API to automatically secure business and economy class reward seats on a range of airlines using points and cash. The system also maximises the accrual of points by automatically paying bills from credit cards with the best offers.
A strictly limited free trial of the platform is on offer for those who sign up today at iflyflat.com.au/wilbur.
