No international quarantine or passenger caps in NSW from 01 November.
NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet has just announced a further easing of restrictions as the state nears the 80% double dose COVID-19 vaccination target.
As well as flagging that next Monday 18 October is likely to be when the 80% stage of reopening settings becomes effective, he confirmed the removal of “quarantine requirements and caps for overseas arrivals who the Commonwealth Government recognises as fully vaccinated with a TGA-approved vaccine”.
Fully vaccinated travellers already in quarantine will complete their quarantine requirements on 01 November even if it is less than 14 days.
Overseas arrivals who are not fully vaccinated will be capped at 210 per week, and will still be required to undergo mandatory 14 days hotel quarantine.
