The Australian travel industry celebrates excellence at the National Travel Industry Awards.
Travel agents and suppliers from across the country have gathered tonight in Sydney for the National Travel Industry Awards, with big winners on the night including Helloworld, Infinity Holidays, APT and Corporate Travel Management.
The industry also paused to remember the victims of the MH17 tragedy, with AFTA ceo Jayson Westbury deploring the “despicable act against the freedoms of the globe.”
Timomatic was the surprise guest entertainer, and the evening, which was once again hosted by Andrew Daddo, also included the world premiere of the new AFTA TV commercial which can be exclusively viewed by CLICKING HERE.
Qantas was named Best Domestic Airline, while Emirates won for Best International Airline and the Best Cruise Operator – Australian Based Operation category was taken out by Royal Caribbean.
See next week’s issues of Travel Daily for all the news and pictures from the celebrations.
