Customers and agents incentivised to use up $600 million in outstanding pandemic flight credits.
Qantas has just announced a range of measures to encourage the utilisation of outstanding credits, including a $10 bonus payment for every booking ticketed using a credit by travel agents.
The carrier is also offering double Qantas Points on all eligible flights booked using a credit, along with more flexible fare conditions including allowing fee-free name changes via travel agents.
“Travel agents who are holding travel credits for their customers will receive a $10 bonus (or local currency equivalent) for every eligible ticketed booking made using a credit from a ticket issued prior to 01 Oct 2021,” the carrier noted, adding that agents will also be able to change names on the credits fee free on both international and domestic itineraries.
