Rex “mildly pleased” by full year results.
Rex Airlines has posted a $46 million loss for the 12 months to 30 June 2022.
The loss was considerably larger than the previous corresponding period, which saw the airline report a $3.86 million loss, with Rex attributing the lingering impact of COVID-19 and the rising cost of jet fuel as the primary drivers of the downturn.
“I am mildly pleased that our performance is not much worse than it is,” Rex Executive Chairman Lim Kim Hai said.
