Two Silversea vessels to be based down under for the first time.
Silversea Cruises has just announced details of its 2021/22 summer program, which will see the deployment of the 388-guest Silver Shadow alongside flagship Silver Muse in local waters for the first time ever.
The Australasian program will offer a range of close-to-home itineraries, with 12 voyages featuring Tasmania, Melanesia and the Java Sea along with two brand new voyages between Cairns and Sydney combining ports of call in Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania and New South Wales.
The local cruises complement other Silversea voyages across the globe between October 2021 and April 2022, taking in the Caribbean, South America, Galapagos, the Middle East and Asia.
A pre-sale for members of Silversea’s Venetian Society loyalty program is open now, ahead of a wider opening for general sale on 17 June.
Silversea Chief Marketing Officer, Barbara Muckermann, said the new voyage collection featured numerous maiden calls, an in-depth exploration of the Amazon river and “our most extensive Australia and New Zealand program”.
New bookings made before 30 June 2020 will see travellers offered Silversea’s Double Bonus offer, including deposits from A$1,500 per suite and US$1,000 to spend on board, combinable with early booking bonuses and Silversea’s “Cruise with Confidence” policy on select sailings.
