More than 100 years of Tollman family ownership comes to an end.
Eighteen global brands operating under The Travel Corporation, including Trafalgar, Contiki, Insight Vacations, Adventure World, Uniworld Boutique River Cruises and more are now in the hands of US private equity firm Apollo following a definitive agreement to acquire TTC.
The Red Carnation hotel brand is not included in the deal.
The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close before the end of 2024.
“We will support a seamless transition and are confident the team at Apollo will continue driving the business forward to meet growing global demand for touring, river cruising and specialist and adventure travel,” said TTC Chairman, Brett Tollman.
