“Business Flyer” allows members to double dip on points and receive additional discounts on base airfares.
Virgin Australia has just announced the launch of a new Business Flyer loyalty program, as part of a commitment to growing its market share in Australia.
Members can join for free and will receive Velocity points for their business, in addition to earning points as an individual. Additional tiered discounts off base published airfares will be offered, and two Velocity Pilot Gold memberships will be gifted to members who join and spend at least $2,000 on flights in the first three months of membership.
The carrier also this morning announced increased service frequencies on key business routes including the Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane triangle which have returned to March 2020 levels.
CEO Jayne Hrdlicka said VA had always played an important role in the travel needs of small and medium sized businesses. “Today’s announcement is the beginning of our journey to add even higher levels of value to this community and ensure that we fiercely compete for our fair share of our heartland customers,” she said.
