Helloworld and BGH Capital both unsuccessful in latest acquisition bids to take control of Webjet.
The Webjet board has rejected two offers to buy the business from Helloworld and BGH Capital, stating that neither bid was capable of being put to shareholders.
“[We] have determined that the management’s time, focus and resources should now return wholly to executing the company’s strategy,” Webjet said.
While rejecting the two most recent offers, Webjet said it remained open to future offers for control that provide more compelling value and greater certainty.
