Tourism Industry Council NSW general manager Andrew Jefferies has called for an urgent decision into NSW’s future aviation needs In line with last week’s release of the Melbourne Airport Master Plan (TD 20 May), which details plans for a third runway, Jefferies said the new runway will enable MEL to service more aircraft movements per hour than Sydney at peak operating capacity.
