“Next generation” dynamic packaging released by Webjet.
Webjet has today announced the launch of holiday packages, combining the OTA’s flight offering with hotels around the world.
The innovation allows customers to simply select their travel dates and destination, and Webjet will return the best packaged flight and accommodation options available.
Consumers are also able to choose the type of holiday they want, such as a beach holiday, shopping, luxury or family escape, with the website claiming 120,000 packages to choose from and “5000 hot holiday deals” available daily.
“Webjet has welded together literally millions of potential air and hotel combinations, delivered in real time online to provide the Australian travel market with next generation packaging, which in turn will deliver massive choice and substantial value opportunities for customers,” said md John Guscic.
He said the product would offer both low-cost carrier and full service airline options alongside Webjet’s portfolio of “one million hotel rooms on sale each day”.
“For the first time the full flexibility and spectrum of packaging is being delivered without the restrictions imposed by traditional wholesaling and bricks and mortar package offerings,” Guscic said.
