Construction will begin soon on a series of updates that will improve the way you travel through the Domestic Terminal. We will be introducing the latest generation security, improving the check-in and screening process for everyone and the dining experiences at the southern end of the Domestic Terminal will be transformed. Behind the scenes, we will consolidate our baggage system in a major upgrade that will include over 100 separate phases to ensure we impact passengers and operations as little as possible. Brisbane Airport is embarking on a $5 billion investment over the next decade in a series of expansions, improvements and development projects that will increase the airport’s capacity, boost sustainability, bring it up to required international security standards and improve its contribution of essential services for the people of Queensland. And it all begins with the Domestic Terminal Security Upgrade project.
