Qantas ceo Alan Joyce emailed the carrier’s frequent flyers today (Friday 17th June 2011) to provide an update on the carrier’s much-discussed decision not to operate flights during this week’s ash crisis. The email also included a link to this video featuring expert members of the Qantas Critical Operational Event Group describing the rationale behind the move.
