New heads for Jetstar, Qantas International and Loyalty.
Qantas Group ceo Alan Joyce has just announced a reorganisation of the company’s executive leadership team, with a number of changes in his direct reports.
Alison Webster, who is currently Executive Manager of Freight, Catering and Airports will become CEO of Qantas International, where incumbent Gareth Evans will become CEO of Jetstar Group. Jayne Hrdlicka will move from her current role heading up Jetstar to become CEO of Qantas Loyalty and Digital Ventures, which will now include Innovation.
Qantas Loyalty CEO Lesley Grant will become Group Executive of People and Culture, replacing Jon Scriven who is retiring. Olivia Wirth‘s role covering Brand, Marketing and Corporate Affairs will expand to include responsibility for customer and digital strategy in the newly created position of Chief Customer Officer. Qantas Domestic CEO Andrew David will also assume responsibility for Qantas Freight, Catering and Airports, while the company’s general counsel and company secretary, Andrew Finch, will also take on responsibility for Office of the CEO.
Joyce said the changes reflected “renewal within a well-established team” with transition to the new structure beginning in November this year.
